“Embracing the Phenomenal Grip of Salvation: Walking in Truth and Freedom”

John 10:28

“And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand.”

The grip of the salvation of Jesus Christ is phenomenal. Father desires that we are saved much more than we desire it. Our weak and simple “yes” to Him puts into motion new creation life and procures for us all that we will need to live in this lifetime and in all the ages and dispensations to come, both known and unknown. We need to see Fathers work through His eyes to receive the revelation that we need to walk as His righteous children in our current state.

As we convince ourselves that the Word is truth and that we are righteous and holy and blameless we will begin to act that way automatically. As we begin to correct our thinking and force ourselves to agree with truth, transformation blossoms. Taking thoughts captive and slaying them with truth produces great freedom and strength to walk in this fallen world.

Our overflowing cup will nourish many others in our sphere of influence. Father has lavished dignity and honor upon us in the most extraordinary way, by making us new creations, and filling us with the Holy Spirit so that we could be marked for our inheritance and guided with the most intimate power source by which truth is translated into us. Truth is woven intricately through our new creation DNA.

It is up to us to agree with Father’s truth, the Word of God, Jesus Christ, and then He will begin to reap what He has sown in us. As we take thoughts captive and agree with the Word of God, we will bring Father the glory He deserves. He greatly desires that we come to the throne of grace boldly, but how can we come boldly encumbered by sin? Exactly! That’s why He took all our sin away! Hallelujah!

Father, I am so grateful for Your excellent salvation plan. There is no way that I could have cleansed myself. Your brilliant plan of making me a new creation is wonderful. I will take every thought that accuses me of being a sinner captive and slay it with the truth of Your Word. I am now a new creation, the old sinful nature is dead and trying to convince me that it is alive. It is on the outside trying to get back in.

I am free because the Son has made me free. I am righteous and holy and blameless and above reproach because of the sacrifice of the perfect Lamb of God. I am truly thankful. I love You. In Jesus name. Amen.
