End Time and Jesus’s Prophecy about Loss of Faith and Identity among Believers

• Matthew 24:24 “For false Christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.”

This comforting scripture really brings to life a specific trait of the Holy Spirit’s character. He will surely increase in strength and power in the believer especially when the enemy increases his influence. It is not possible for the elect to be lost. Jesus inserts a gigantic “IF POSSIBLE” in His prophecy about end times inferring that the elect won’t fall for the enemies’ tricks. Our great guiding force will match and overcome all the works of darkness with a tremendous increase in power and in revelation. The elect will know for sure when the time comes just how elect they are. But why wait? We can certainly know who we are in Christ now. We can employ our imagination to and our agreement with the Word of God. Father says, in His Word, that He has made us righteous and holy and blameless and above reproach. Because that is absolute truth we need to decide what we will do with this astounding truth. Do we embrace it agree with it and wholeheartedly believe it? Or do we sometimes believe it and mostly feel unworthy and unacceptable? Feelings cannot be trusted. Facts cannot be trusted. Only TRUTH can be trusted. Our choice to press on in truth no matter how it feels will produce great fruit. We will be free to hear the voice of the Holy Spirit more precisely. We will be at liberty to follow His directives without fear of failure. We will be transformed into the likeness of Jesus Christ by default. Our minds will be renewed at a scale we never thought possible. Why? Because we will KNOW and OWN the truth and the truth will make us free to live in our new creation identity. That is the will of our Father. He desires that we press into His amazing grace and be empowered by the awesome truth of His Word. It’s time for the elect to rise up in our magnificent new creation identity and fulfill the will of our extravagantly benevolent Father.

Father, I am so grateful for Your Word. I know that everything You say is absolute truth. I agree with You that in Christ I am righteous and holy and blameless and above reproach. I am grateful for my new creation identity. I will thrive in all of the gifts that You have given me. I will push myself to agree with Your Word more and more. I’m not afraid to attempt new things because failure means nothing to me. I know that You will equip me for every good work. I want to see Your kingdom expanded in this crazy upside-down world. I am truly grateful. I love You. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
